Begin your Holiday Season with the beauty and enchantment of South Valley Dance Arts’ heartwarming and magical original story, running December 6th – 8th in Morgan Hill. From the moment the lights dim, you will be transported to a magical place filled with adorable children, a Ukrainian Gypsy village, magical dolls, a hilarious and silly toy bear, mischievous rats, crystalline waltzing snowflakes, elves and fairies, and breathtaking costumes, sets and dancing.

A wonderful ballet for the entire family, The Gift is the perfect way to introduce young children to the power and beauty of classical dance. Our heartwarming message of love, community and family, fantastic scenery and vibrantly theatrical staging combine to create a visually stunning, comedic and touching show

South Valley Dance Arts is Morgan Hill’s premiere community-oriented, non-competitive modern/ballet school and performing company. SVDA’s one-of-a-kind shows have been dazzling South Valley audiences with its signature blend of professional classical technique, enthusiastic young students from the community, humor and surprises for over a decade. The production features a cast of over 130 dancers.

The main role of the Magical Toys reunited in love is being shared by Derek Musgrove and Amanda Montoya. The magical and humble family is being played by Jonny Veliquette, Madison Bayuga, Audric Smith and Sophia Rodriguez this year. Billy Prusinowski is our guest artist, and Ukrainian instructor playing the part of Papa the magical Matryoshka/Nutcracker Maker. Our Music Box duet will be performed by Alison Tapia, and Racheal Gallagher and our hilarious bear will be performed by Sierra Murphy.
