Morgan Hill HouseGet a head-start on the holidays by buying special home-made and one-of-a-kind gifts at the Morgan Hill Historical Society’s Annual Holiday Boutique from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 6 to 8.

Find unique holiday gifts and treasures, antique tea cups, art glass, lamps, glass and silverware, florals and soaps, custom-made jewelry, cards, vintage books, handmade crafts and furnishings, wine charms, pillows, dolls and much more at the historic Hiram Morgan Hill House, located at 17860 Monterey Road.

“We have some fabulous new vendors this year along with the exceptional vendors that we have attending each and every year,” said Janie Knopf, society member and event organizer. “Most of our vendors are local.”

Two that are not local are Courtney Bay from Aptos, with her beautiful, unique jewelry items made of recycled plastic bags in many different colors, and Chris Johnson of Salinas with her very artistic arrangement of succulents.

“We will also have Roxanne’s Biscotti, Nanny O’s canned vegetables, local honey and many more items for sale,” she said.

Each boutique vendor donates a portion of their proceeds to support the historical society to help maintain the Hiram Morgan Hill House, its grounds and museum for the education and enjoyment of the entire community, she said.

“The Hiram Morgan Hill House is the perfect venue for holiday shopping. It is decorated in the spirit of the holiday season with a relaxed, elegant atmosphere and it is local.,” Knopf said. “What more could we ask for than running into your neighbors during a fun-filled day of shopping.”
