Congrats to Morgan Hill resident Brian Moiles, who finished second in the Gilroy Garlic Festival Cook-off this year. Judge’s found his Chardonnay, Dijon, Garlic and Herb-Basted Rotisserie Leg of Lamb scrumptious. Brian, you did Morgan Hill proud.

If you love playing golf and helping a worthwhile charity at the same time, then the Chili’s Grill & Bar 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament is for you.

This year’s fundraiser will be held Sept. 27 at the bucolic Cinnabar Hill Golf Course. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which works to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment.

At St. Jude’s, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay. Now that’s something to tee it up for. To sign up as a player or sponsor, visit www.chilischaritygolf.com.
