Cookbook book club
• Join the Cookbook Book Club from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the library, 660 W. Main Ave. Each month will feature a different theme and participants can select a cookbook/recipe within the theme and share it with the group. They are also planning a potluck-style sharing of the recipes each meeting.

Bingo benefits seniors
• Bingo is played at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road, to raise funds to benefit the Morgan Hill Senior Center. Kiwanis meet regularly

South Bay Singers meet
• A new season has started for the South Bay Singers and the group invites new members to join. They meet at 7 p.m. in the LDS Church, 1790 E. Dunne Ave. The group is rehearsing for its spring concert. Those interested in joining can simply come to a rehearsal. Lunch and learn Zentangle
• Have lunch and learn Zentangle with certified teacher Nancy Domnauer from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at BookSmart, 80 E. Wine tasting in the midst of history
• Looking for something deliciously fun and educational? Visit Villa Mira Monte’s regional wine tasting room at the historic Hiram Morgan Hill House, from noon to 4 p.m.. 17860 Monterey Road. Paradise Valley Vineyard’s Cabernet and Merlot will be served for a fee of $5 that applies to bottle purchase. Taste the wines or bring a picnic, or buy a bottle and enjoy the ambiance. Preschool, kindergarten fair

Great Decisions
• Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs and provides information and policy options on the eight most critical issues facing America and serves as the focal text for discussion groups. Silicon Valley Reads author at library
• Benjamin Parzybok, author of “Sherwood Nation,” will visit the Morgan Hill Library at 7 p.m. His eco-fiction novel is about the lives of people and neighborhoods in Portland, Ore., after years of severe drought and water rationing. This leads to hoarding, corruption, protests and riots, and the rise of a new “nation.” Refreshments will be served. Books may be purchased at a 10 percent discount. WERC BOWL-a-Thon
• The Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center’s educational owls have formed a “BOWL” team to help publicize WERC’s fundraiser to care for local native wildlife that are orphaned, sick or injured.
