Play Pickleball
• Join other active adults for drop-in Pickleball games every week at the Centennial Recreation Center. Mondays from 8:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sundays from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Pickleball is the fastest growing adult sport in America. All levels are welcome. Cookbook book club
• Join the Cookbook Book Club from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the library, 660 W. Main Ave. Each month will feature a different theme and participants can select a cookbook/recipe within the theme and share it with the group. They are also planning a potluck-style sharing of the recipes each meeting.

Bingo benefits seniors
• Bingo is played at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road, to raise funds to benefit the Morgan Hill Senior Center. History at the house
• Community members who have an experience level and a willingness to share their perspectives about local history and landscapes are invited to join the conversation. Robin Schaut of the Santa Clara County Parks Department will be the guest of the Morgan Hill Historical Society from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Hiram Morgan Hill House at Villa Mira Monte, 17860 Monterey St. Schaut is the interpretive director for the parks and with her Morgan Hill roots attendees will hear a wide ranging conversation about land preservation and recreation as well stories of growing up on Malaguerra Avenue.

Learn to meditate
• A half-day workshop, “Meditation in Everyday Life,” will be offered Sunday morning, at Villa Mira Monte. It is suitable for both beginners and experienced mediators, and will include teachings and instruction in sitting and walking meditation. The workshop will be led by Ajahn Chandako, an American Buddhist monk who is abbot of a monastery in New Zealand. There is no set fee; all teachings are offered on a donation basis. No One Left Behind race
• Join other runners for the Inaugural CalFire L2881 No One Left Behind 5k and 10k race beginning at 8 a.m. at the Target Shopping Center,, 1061 Cochrane Road. The race offers two different courses. Those running the 10k will leave the city behind for tree-lined streets and gorgeous farmland views. Those in the 5k will enjoy a fun, fast course with country views. • Director, producer, and filmmaker John Bisceglie seeks youth ages 8 to 21 to appear in “Broadway Movie Musical,” a salute to the American musical. Record in a professional recording studio, work on a movie set with a film crew, then see yourself on the silver screen when “Broadway Movie Musical” premieres in selected Bay Area movie theaters in January 2017.
