• Join others in a weekday evening and Saturday morning walks. Meet at the Morgan Hill Shopping Center (Main and Hale avenues) for one-hour walks from 6 to 7 p.m. They also meet and walk for 90 minutes Saturdays beginning at 9 a.m. The walks are at a moderate pace and include hills. • The Live Oak Emerald Regime holds bingo games at the Britton Middle School Auditorium, 80 W. Central Ave., to support after-school band programs. LeTip meets weekly
• LeTip Morgan Hill is a group of local business people that meets for breakfast at 7 a.m. every Wednesday at Rosy’s at the Beach with the purpose of giving each other leads to increase their business and revenue. Dazzle is almost here
• Rotary Club of Morgan Hill’s enchanting summer evening event set amidst the pristine views and luxury of Clos LaChance Winery begins at 5 p.m. Enjoy a hosted champagne and wine reception with dinner at sunset. Jewelry Making Class
• Children will be taught how to make beautiful jewelry including bracelets, bookmarks or decorative pins. In each session they will come away with a unique treasure for themselves or as a gift for someone else. This is a drop-off program at the Centennial Recreation Center, 171 W. Splash for dash
• This 7th annual event for youth ages 5 to 13 will be a fun and confidence-building race. The race starts and ends at Sobrato High School, 401 Burnett Ave. The entry fee includes a T-shirt, goodie bag, and a finisher medal for each participant. There are four separate age divisions and award categories. The cost is $35 for youth who pre-enter, ($20 for each additional child) and $45 for race day registration ($30 each additional child). Summer book sale
• The Morgan Hill Friends of the Library will hold a Summer Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library, 660 W. Main St. All books are $1 or less, or $4 per bag from 2 to 3 p.m. A members-only preview will be held that day from 9 to 10 a.m. Memberships are available at the door.
