Today was a day very much like any other day. We had a couple in the office from Florida looking to find things to do in Morgan Hill and get recommendations for Chamber of Commerce member restaurants. They were in town for a few days, staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott. They were given our custom handouts on the local Chamber restaurants, wineries, retail stores and handouts on other Chamber businesses.

We have customized handouts for specific members businesses, member-only directories, and newsletters to promote our Chamber members. As a member of the Chamber, we offer member networking opportunities for business to business connections and leads. If your business is not a member of the Chamber you are missing out on many great opportunities.

We can promote your business through our website www.MorganHill.org, through referrals, handouts and networking.

We also have a monthly newsletter in which you can place ads or write about an event your company is doing. Our newsletters are distributed to all our members and are available in the office and on our website. We provide benefits and resources to support member business for a strong regional economic, civic, cultural and educational climate.

Do you even know where the Chamber is located? We are on Monterey Road between First and Second Street, 17485 Monterey Road. You can call us at (408) 779-9444. We have information on all our members, some with handouts that we can give to people looking for either a place or service.

If you are looking for an electrician, plumber, HVAC or perhaps someone to design a website, a doctor, dentist hairdresser, winery or event venue we can recommend them to you. We are a great resource both in person or 24/7 at our MorganHill.org website.

The Chamber of Commerce promotes local businesses and our community. We provide benefits and resources and support members for a strong regional economic, civic and cultural and educational climate. We work to create a strong local economy, provide business connections and visibility and represent business interests to government.

Let’s Do Lunch
Join others for a casual lunch from noon to 1 p.m. every Monday. The lunch usually attracts about a dozen or more chamber members. Everyone orders as they arrive and pays for their own meal. Lunch takes place at Mama Mia’s Restaurant, 275 E. Dunne Ave. No RSVP necessary.

Nov. 21
Networking Mixer
This month’s networking mixer takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bella Terra Apartments, 235 E. Dunne Ave. This is a great opportunity to meet other chamber members.

Nov. 26
Business Focus Group
All chamber members are welcome to attend this fun, networking group, focused on results for your business. It takes place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Gavilan College Morgan Hill campus adjacent to the Community Center.

Dec. 5
Good Morning Morgan Hill
Join a group of other business people the first Thursday of each month at the Good Morning Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce Breakfast. New members are introduced and given the opportunity to give a brief description of their business.
