City-of-Morgan-Hill-webThe city of Morgan Hill launched its newly redesigned city website earlier this month. The new website offers a fresh and vibrant new look. As you visit the home page you are greeted by a slide-show of Morgan Hill photos depicting the active, outdoor, family — friendly lifestyle the community is known for. Similar to the old site the new site continues to offer on-line utility billing, detailed access to recreation programs including on-line registration, streaming of city council and planning commission meetings, available job opportunities, as well as new functionality.

The new site has been optimized for mobile-usage, an important feature the old site lacked. The past drop-down menus have been replaced by more navigation-friendly mega menus. The new site additionally includes an improved search function. On the administrative side of the website, updating content has been reconstructed in a way that simplifies the process while allowing greater opportunity for customization. These improvements, along with many others, will create a better on-line experience.

The site, which will remain at the same URL: www.morganhill.ca.gov., was announced to the Morgan Hill community through an email blast and social media encouraging the community to participate in an on-line community discussion (a feature of the new site) sharing thoughts and ideas on how to continue to improve the new site ensuring that is user friendly, current, vibrant and engaging.
