I am proud to serve as your councilmember. I am running for re-election with a clear and positive plan for Morgan Hill.

Throughout my years serving the residents of the city, I have had many opportunities to think about why I choose to campaign and serve in this way.

Morgan Hill is a great city made up of so many wonderful, caring people, many of whom find impactful ways of giving back to their community.

I have an interest in the issues we face, and the experience to solve them. I search for common ground when faced with opposition, and I make decisions that are based on reliable information, fairness and in the best interest of our community.

Morgan Hill has come a long way in the last few years, but there is still much to do. Extending and implementing a continued strong managed growth ordinance, finding funding for street maintenance throughout the city and building road connections on Santa Teresa/Hale. New construction will be occurring in downtown, and I will work with developers to minimize impacts to existing business and residents. Supporting and partnering with the Morgan Hill Unified School District to make local public education opportunities great for Morgan Hill kids. Expanding our awesome recreation programs to include an inclusive park and playground, we need new parks in downtown and bike/pedestrian trails that effectively connect our community. And I will continue to support public safety, providing resources necessary for the brave men and women of the Morgan Hill police and fire departments to effectively serve our community and remain safe while doing so.

I humbly ask for your support. You may not always agree with me on issues we face, but you should always be confident in my knowledge of the issues, and my sincerity in addressing them, and how much I care about Morgan Hill.
