The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce is launching the “Make Your Local Spending Count” program using technology from BuzZub. The BuzZub platform provides a multi-shop rewards system through which customers earn and spend rewards at any of the participating stores and restaurants. BuzZub is particularly designed for locally-owned businesses can provide a critical piece of our community both through unique experiences and an outsized contribution to local causes. With BuzZub, customers who support these critical businesses have an opportunity to spend their rewards at any participating businesses and/or to give those rewards to local nonprofit organizations.
Another element of this program will be a Morgan Hill BuzZub participating merchant local gift card program. These gift cards will be usable at any participating business. We expect these to be particularly popular with service providers such as real estate agents and insurance brokers who want to show their customers appreciation in a way that further builds the local community.
Merchants currently participating in the BuzZub Make Your Local Spending Count program include Booksmart, GVA Café, Thinker Toys, Morgan Hill Cigar and Wine, Small Town Memorabilia, Rumour Has It Salon, The Candy Parlour, J & R Signs & Fashion and Jimmy P’s Pizzeria. We expect to add many more local shops to this network in the weeks and months ahead. Locally-owned and operated businesses form the heart of our business community, and we are excited to have another way to support them and to encourage you to Make You Spending Count by bringing them your business.
