The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill announced this year’s recipients of their Charitable Giving Program. The grants are made in an effort to help various local groups enhance their programs and benefit the community.

This year the Charitable Giving Committee focused its grants on youth, seniors, veterans and the community at large. The committee was presented with 22 applications and in the end they awarded nine groups with a total of $14,500 in grants.

The groups that were given grants were Community Solutions, Coyote Valley Track and Field, Gamma Alpha Chapter Reading Program, Gavilan Buzz Softball, Morgan Hill Youth Sports Alliance, Nordstrom Home and School Club, One Step Closer Therapeutic Riding, St. Vincent de Paul Society and Worldview Explorations.

The recipients are varied and provide a multitude of benefits and programs throughout the city.

The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill is a recipient of the Rotary International Presidential Citation for Distinguished Service. It served the Morgan Hill community for 60 years. Rotary is a worldwide organization of business and professional leaders.
