Principal Claudia Olaciregui cuts the ribbon during a grand opening event. She said, “Our Environmental Science Academy program is working on different projects. We are very excited about our Monarch Butterfly Project started by our fourth graders in Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Reynolds’ class. They are having a wonderful time learning about Monarch butterflies and creating a habitat where they can grow. Students and teachers have planted milkweed, and some butterflies have emerged from their chrysalis, already.”
