The Morgan Hill Community Foundation held its second annual Discover Morgan Hill Road Rally and Poker Fun Run and raised $5,000 for its nonprofit activities. About 50 participants visited various businesses, county parks, and other stops that make southern Santa Clara County an attractive area to explore, collecting playing cards as they tried to get the highest poker hand.
Rally participants began at the Morgan Hill Community and Cultural Center, and then choose individual routes for their own tours based on their interests. Engines started at 9 a.m., and the event concluded at 1 p.m. with a “Winners Circle” celebration at the Granada Theatre in downtown Morgan Hill.
