The old South Valley Bike Shop on the corner of Second Street and Monterey Road is coming down this week starting April 18. Owner Dan McCranie is developing ideas for a mixed-use project on the site. In the mean time, the Pop-up Park will be relocated to the empty spot where the bike shop once stood.
Join community members and city staff 10:15 a.m. April 20 for a celebration of the old shop’s demolition and the promise of the new Pop-up Park that will replaced it.
