Over the years, I have accumulated many happy memories enjoying Taco Tuesday at Rosy’s at the Beach in downtown Morgan Hill. Whether it’s in the heat of the summer enjoying sunny ‘al fresco’ dining with friends, or sitting alone inside at the bar during the cold, dark of winter, snatching glances at the hockey game on the flat screen as the rain beats down, Taco Tuesday is one of my favorite experiences of uniquely Morgan Hill.
You just can’t beat sitting down to a highly affordable, delicious and steaming hot plate of fresh salmon tacos with an ice-cold wheat beer complete with a juicy slice of orange partially submerged into the frothy brew.
There are times when I stroll into the place solo after a long, hard day at work. All I’m looking for is a quick and simple taco meal, cold brew and pleasant conversation. There, I find all three.
Or, there are times I’ll bring friends and introduce them to Taco Tuesday at Rosy’s. They rave about the great deal and vow to return. Toni, the hostess, always greets us with a smile, gets us the best seats in the house, and treats us like VIP patrons. Big bonus – she always remembers my name.
Seriously, what’s not to love about Taco Tuesday at Rosy’s? The tacos are filled with huge chunks of fresh salmon and avocado. The beer is always cold, service is great and fellow patrons are genuinely nice people. Best of all, I can afford to leave a nice tip since the prices don’t break the bank at $2 a taco. Thanks Rosy!
