We’re officially in the second month of the New Year and it appears like we may be in for nicer weather and sunnier days in no time.

With all the excitement and goals of the New Year, the social calendars are starting to fill. With this in mind, our beautiful downtown will be hosting several events this coming year, as well as many other activities that will be happening nearby. The convenience of being able to enjoy amazing events in our town or just a few minutes away will never get old. Here’s what’s up coming in the months ahead.

The entire month of March brings us Spring Passport. From March 1through March 31, ticket holders will be able to enjoy wine tasting along the Santa Clara Valley Wine Trail. Each passport includes access to 30 tasting rooms and discounts offered by passport business partners. March 1 will be the official kickoff night at Coyote Creek Golf Club, were guests are able to enjoy delicious food, wine tasting and live music. Tickets are on sale now, you won’t want to miss out on this fun event.

The Morgan Hill Downtown Association is in full swing working on our annual event, The Wine Stroll. The date has been set for 1 p.m. April 27. What better way than to spend a Saturday than strolling through downtown, tasting wines from our award-winning Santa Clara wineries. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the downtown and take in all the sites, shops, and restaurants. We are looking to make this year even better, so stay tuned for more information on possible additions you won’t want to miss out on. Volunteer opportunities will also be open to the public, so if you would like to help out please contact our office.

With so many local wineries nearby, many have their own unique events year round.  Many wineries have their own weekend wine tasting, music guests, food tasting, or a yoga class in the vineyard. Most of these locations are just a few minutes outside of downtown. Be sure to visit your favorite local wineries website for more details.

With the downtown growing, let’s also not forget about our amazing shops and restaurants downtown, with more to come. Many of our local retailers and restaurants also host their own specials and music for locals and visitors to enjoy.

This is just a teaser of what’s in store for the first part of the year. Our town is full of life and fun and friendly events for people to enjoy.

These events are happening in the next three months and there is so much more down the road, with new additions continuing to be added to the calendar.

As an association we are always looking for ways to make our events the best they can be, as I’m sure the other community event supporters are as well. We’re excited for what’s coming and look forward to the year ahead.

See you downtown!
