What if in the next 20 years the American people can join together in an endeavor to forever free the world from the ravages of war between nations?

What if by Christmas Day in the year 2040 the entire world can truly celebrate a lasting peace on Earth.

I’ve thought about this idea a lot. At first, it sounds like the dream of a lunatic.

Most people believe that the violence of war is inevitable. But the truth is, it’s not.

We human beings are smart enough to end wars forever and create a world where all nations exist together in a spirit of harmony for the benefit of all humanity.

President John F. Kennedy more than half a century ago said it best.

“Mankind must put an end to war before war puts an end to mankind,” he said.

Let’s learn that lesson now. Let’s prevent the next world war, an event some political experts say will start in the next 10 to 30 years — by the mid-century point.

If you understand history, if you understand the Thucydides trap, this major global conflict will highly likely start between China and America. It would bring in their allies.

With our advanced weapons systems, especially nuclear armaments, more people will die and more property will be destroyed in the Chinese-American War than in all of the wars of the 20th century combined.

This war most likely will bring an end to our global industrial civilization.

We can prevent a human-made catastrophe from happening.

But we, the American people, need to take action now to change the course that we’re taking. We’re taking a course toward war with the Chinese people.

This holiday season, I’m encouraging my fellow Americans to support “peace on Earth and goodwill toward men” that goes far beyond a Christmas card sentiment.

If you love somebody who is young in life, give them the greatest gift.

The gift of hope.

The gift of a hope for peace.

Support the Vision-2020 movement.

Wars are horrible. The price of peace is well worth paying to achieve a world forever free from violence between nations.

My mother was a young girl growing up in Berlin, Germany, when she saw the devastation of war on her home city.

She would tell you that action taken now to bring an end to all wars later in the future will be well worth the time it takes.

Support Vision-2020. I invite you to collaborate with me and potentially millions of other Americans to give the world the greatest gift by December 25 in the year 2040 . . .

. . .  a world forever free from wars.
