The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce is planning the return of its popular Friday Night Music Series, after it was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

The chamber released dates and the band lineup, which will take place at the downtown amphitheater at the Community and Cultural Center. The county health department will have the final say on whether or not the concerts go forward. Should they determine it’s necessary, it is likely the chamber will control attendance with pre-registration and seating assignments, and enforce social distancing and mask-wearing.

All shows will run from 6 to 9:30 p.m. starting Aug. 6 and running through Oct. 8. The lineup is:

Soul Kiss — Aug. 6

Lyn I’s – Tribute to The Eagles — Aug. 13

Shane Dwight Band — Aug. 20

Maroon Vibes – Tribute to Maroon 5 — Aug. 27

Faithfully LIVE – Tribute to Journey — Sept. 3

“Locals Night” Austin Freeman & the Hard Souls Band and then the Neverland Band — Sept. 10

Caravanserai — Sept. 17

Taste of Morgan Hill Weekend — Sept. 25 and 26

Superbad — Oct. 1

The Houserockers — Oct.  8

Meanwhile, the chamber is planning to resume the Taste of Morgan Hill, though should COVID-19 numbers take a turn for the worse, this fall’s event might be cancelled.
