This originally off-Broadway crazy, mad, charming musical comes from the creative magic of director/chorographer Lee Ann Payne. The South Bay Musical Theatre’s show follow five continuously gyrating, singing, dancing. always moving friends in England back and through the ‘60s into the ‘70s, with old standards like  “Downtown,” “Don’t Sleep In The Subway,” “These Boots Are Made For Walking,” “Georgy Girl,” “Those Were The Days,” and “Son Of A Preacher Man,” just to  name a few

Melissa Momboisse is the Red Girl, Christina Bolognini, as the Orange Girl, Jamie Gussman as the Yellow Girl, Heather Mae Steffen as the Blue Girl, Amanda Le Nguyen as the Green Girl,  make up this always continually moving cast that works on a colorful compacted three leveled set created  by Brett Carison with the wild ingenious original choreography by Payne that is a joyful jolt to the eye of fast fun and movement added  to the  imaginative costumes by Y. Peng.

This topflight energetic cast and a fine trio orchestra carries the production to a new high with nineteen standard  songs of the time that reach out and touch.

The plot follows the  girls with their individual personalities and voices throughout the performance.

Bring the whole family for a fun filled evening or afternoon of joyful nostalgic shenanigans and music that leaves all with a great feeling of well being and delight. Who can’t use a shot of well being and delight just about now? I know I can.
