The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill announced the recipients of 19 scholarships recently awarded to Morgan Hill high school seniors. The students who received these scholarships are as follows:
• Live Oak High School Students  Lauren Masterson, Samrawit Haile, David Hau, Emilie Smith, Shelby Mitchell, Benjamin Jackson ( The Bill Stables $1,000 Music Scholarship) and Alexis Buddle ( The Ralph and Rose Fitzsimmons $2,000 Agriculture Scholarship).

• Sobrato High School Students Amanda Bell, Amanda Anderson, Adrianna Cassiba, Hannah Austin, Monet Percun, Janae Godard, Julieflor Cortez, Cassandra Iniquez, Hannah Miller, and Christopher Perez.

• Central High School student Uriel Alvarez and Oakwood High School student Roos de Vries also received scholarships.

This year the theme behind the scholarships was: “Doing more for those with less.” Chuck Berghoff, Morgan Hill Rotary director of youth services, said, “By providing scholarships to local students, Rotary focused on giving Morgan Hill youth an advantage by making a difference for those students who showed exceptional leadership, community service and academic accomplishment, particularly those who could benefit most from our financial support.”
