Love was in the air as Morgan Hill’s Teachers Aid Coalition concluded its most successful “Chocolate & Wine for Valentines” event Feb. 8 at the Morgan Hill Community & Cultural Center.
An estimated 200 guests enjoyed the fine wines poured by local wineries including Guglielmo, Morgan Hill Cellars, Clos La Chance, Sycamore Creek, Martin Ranch and Fernwood Cellars.
However, many went straight to the areas serving rich chocolates offered by Marich Confectionary, See’s Candies, and the chocolate-covered dried fruit from our renown Andy’s Orchard.
TAC is a nonprofit grass-roots organization founded in 1999 by former Morgan Hill Unified School District administrator Bob Davis and Dr. Jon Hatakeyama to gather classroom supplies to distribute to the classroom teachers in the Morgan Hill Unified School District.
Funds raised from this event enable two classroom supply giveaways each school year.
