Travelers who pass along rural streets and avenues in the region no doubt have noticed the signage pointing toward local wineries. The signs were put up by Santa Clara County’s Roads Department as part of the new Wine Trail that will lead drivers to South Valley’s nearly 30 wineries. Pictured at the ribbon cutting from left are Gary, George, and Gene Guglielmo, Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce CEO/President John Horner (with giant pair of scissors in his hand), Morgan Hill Vice-Mayor Marilyn Librers and Santa Clara County Supervisor Mike Wasserman who played a role in cutting through the bureaucratic red-tape to get to the day where everyone could cut the red ribbon.
