Creativity can decide your whole life, whether you will be successful or not. It also signifies your view on the world.

If you are not a creative person, you see the world in a less colorful way and you don’t spot many of the things that creative people would see. You can be creative while you are dreaming, by coming up with original ideas, while making a work of art or writing a song, and many other ways.

My developmental asset is creative activities, where a young person participates in three or more hours a week in lessons or practice in music, theater or other arts. I have a friend who is in a band and plays the drums, and he’s really good at it. He practices at least an hour a day. I have noticed that he sees everything as a great opportunity to get better or to learn something new.

One warm and sunny day, a few of my friends and were playing soccer, when the ball went over the fence and we couldn’t get it. That wasn’t a problem for my friend, because he saw that this was the perfect opportunity to learn how to play soccer with a football, because all we had left was a football. We ended up having a lot of fun because of his great idea.

Creativity will always be a good thing to have. People such as my friend make the world a much more interesting place. And who doesn’t want that?
