With the “soft opening” of the downtown garage this week, people are coming to see the new structure and its exquisite art works “Poppy Jasper” and “The Tarantula” by Napa-based artist Gordon Huether. The two art works are beautiful during the day, but the real revelation comes at night when they are light up.
Morgan Hill residents are taking photos of the spider at night and putting them on social media to share with the world. Here are two by Michelle McKay and Matt Kennedy taken May 11 after a wine pairing dinner at Rosy’s at the Beach restaurant.
