  • The Community Closet gives away clothes, shoes and household items to those in need in South County. The free giveaways take place from 10 a.m. to noon at The Community Closet, 13570 Depot St., San Martin.

Flower Lovers meet

  • The San Martin Neighborhood Alliance will host an Emergency Preparedness event for residents of San Martin and those living in unincorporated South County. Learn about Sister Cities

  • Interested in traveling to Italy this summer? The Sister Cities is expanding its cultural exchange with San Casciano, Italy. The program seeks interested Morgan Hill teens, 14 to 17, to travel to Italy in the summer of 2018 and host an Italian teen during the summer of 2019. A meeting will be held to give teens a chance to learn about an international experience, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Community and Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Historical conversations

  • Join others at a conversation with a notable contributor to the community and its heritage from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Hiram Morgan Hill House at Villa Mira Monte. This is a monthly interactive series where you can participate in the conversation or just listen and learn. Light refreshments will be served with wine tasting ($5 tasting fee) at the house after the discussion.
