AARP Safe Driving Course
- A refresher course for motorists 50 and older is taking place. Must call and register to get date and location. Participants will familiarize themselves with driver safety and new laws. No tests. Course, class materials and instructor provided by AARP. There is a minimal DMV certificate fee. A discount on auto insurance is available upon completion of this one-day class. Learning and Loving Center Fundraiser
- Celebrate the 2018 Morgan Hill “Nonprofit of the Year,” the Learning and Loving Education Center at the nonprofit’s annual fundraiser from 5 to 9 p.m., at St. Catherine’s Parish Hall, 17400 Peak Ave. Join them as they celebrate the rich history and abundance of Santa Clara Valley with community spirit, music, dance, silent auction, “Wine Heist” and farm to table dining. Jake’sFest is Coming
- Check out the inaugural Jake’sFest fundraiser and bring your craft beer, wine, and dog-loving friends. This indoor/outdoor benefit is hosted by The Grapevine and The Running Shop and Hops on Depot Street in downtown. There will be a silent auction, dog-related vendors, live music, food trucks, sales of beer and wine, and more. All proceeds help Jake’s Wish Dog Rescue save more shy, injured, abandoned, or otherwise at-risk dogs. All dollars raised help cover vaccinations, food, supplies, and spay/neuter. Audition for ‘Destination Oz’
- If you like “Wicked,” “The Wiz,” and “The Wizard of Oz,” you’ll love “Destination Oz,” John Bisceglie’s original musical comedy that combines three classic musicals into one unforgettable journey down the yellow brick road. Coe Backcountry Weekend.
- Once a year the chance to drive 11 miles into the southern part of Coe Park takes place. Come for the day, camp, or backpack. Bring your bike, horse, and fishing pole. Pancake Breakfast
