Coding for Kids: Build the World’s Greatest Word-Game Using Python
Python is an easy to learn and intuitive programming language for beginners. Mad Libs is a very popular word-game. Design your own Mad Libs game and then code it using Python. Create a fully functional Mad Libs game in minutes. Try your program on others and try their Mad Libs program yourself. Participants will gain an understanding of input and output processing, variables, and how to pause program for dramatic effect. Instructions will be provided so that participants can continue to work on their game at home.

As part of the Pro Bono Project, we will be hosting a Virtual Legal Advice Clinic offering free legal advice on a variety of subjects including immigration, civil law, divorce, child custody, consumer law, elder issues and small claims court. Coyote Valley Landscape Linkage Project – A Vision for a Resilient, Multi-benefit Landscape
Gail Basson, project Manager for the Coyote Valley Wildlife Linkage project, will speak about tracking wildlife movement between the Santa Cruz Mountains and the Diablo Range, and the Morgan Hill connection.
