Grass Farm donated sod to make the field safe for athletes to use

Morgan Hill Unified School District Superintendent Carmen Garcia (far left), Sobrato High School Principal Theresa Sage, and several Sobrato Bulldogs softball team players cut the ribbon at the new field and facilities dedicated March 17. Grass Farm co-owners Erin Gil and Debbie Barncord and original owner Bill Gil contributed sod for the field’s remodel. Prior to the project the field was so full of gopher holes that visiting teams asked the Bulldogs coaches to play “home games” at their facilities.
