Santa Clara County Board of Education – District 7 Candidate Natalie Prcevski
My name is Natalie Prcevski, and I am a candidate for the Santa Clara County Board of Education District 7 because I know we can do better for the schools, students, teachers, and families.
As a business leader and active community member, I want to build a thriving public education system across the county, for all schools, and for all kids. As a parent I have a personal stake in the education and support we offer our children and the community.
I am running because I want to propel academic achievement for all students and all levels of learners. I want to remove barriers for our teachers and help provide them the resources and support they need. We must help our teachers teach and leaders lead and remove the obstacles in their way.
I am running because we need safe, healthy environments where students and staff can flourish and be their personal best. Mental health awareness is at the forefront in the post pandemic because we all have experienced a tough couple of years — especially our students. It’s been a tough on teaching staff, too. Let’s empower them to be successful.
I am running because we need to regain trust in our schools through partnership with parents and the community we serve. We have a responsibility to help our schools be a beacon of excellence. It’s imperative schools and parents together help lay the foundation for our students so they can navigate the evolving and complex world before us.
Our future is our children, and they need real world skills to be successful in school and in life. Along with core competencies, we need to foster effective communicators, innovative thinkers and problem-solvers, and socially aware individuals. I’m committed to being an advocate and partner with our students, parents, educators, and community leaders across Santa Clara County.
