Morning Bike Ride

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market brings together farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets. A family-friendly Kids Craft is included with fun educational projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, accessed via Butterfield Boulevard.
Tour Morgan Hill Museum
• The Morgan Hill Museum and Hiram Morgan Hill House are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with docents giving tours. Learn about the city’s history and see some new additions to the museum. The Villa Mira Monte grounds are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, where visitors can enjoy the Centennial History Trail and the rose garden at leisure.

Free Downtown Walking Tours

Daughters of the Amer. Revolution
• Members from Hollister, Gilroy, San Juan Bautista and Morgan Hill meet at 10 a.m. (through May). Book Sale
• The Friends of Gilroy will hold its monthly Book Sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 350 W. Sixth Street. Books will be $5 per bag for members and $8 per bag for non-members. The Friends of the Library are looking for several people to help out in the Book Store and also with the Saturday Book Sales with setting up and taking down tables and books. Benefit Concert
• The Gilroy Elks Lodge Scholarship Benefit Concert featuring the Pacific Brass Band takes place at 2 p.m., at the Lodge, 2765 Hecker Pass Highway. It includes a Champagne reception with appetizers, the concert and a silent auction and raffle. Pasta Feed Fundraiser
• Enjoy an all-you-can-eat pasta dinner, live music, a silent auction, drawings, and more from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Old City Hall Restaurant, 7400 Monterey St. Proceeds support Operation Freedom Paws. Spring Craft Fair
• The Machado Heritage Society Craft Fair takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 15130 Sycamore Dr. Shop for handmade items for Easter, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, and graduations. Food and sweet treats will be available for purchase.
Junior Ranger Family Day
• Participants who complete three or more virtual sessions will earn the Junior Ranger badge and are invited to gather in person for a fun Junior Ranger Family Day celebration from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Hellyer-Cottonwood Picnic Area. The event will conclude with a special ceremony in which Junior Rangers will receive their badges and certificates.
