Local team won the IFL Championship with a 51-41 victory over the Sioux Falls Storm

Get ready to celebrate with our hometown gridiron heroes!
The city of Morgan Hill will honor the Bay Area Panthers with a parade on Friday, Aug. 11, to celebrate the team’s Indoor Football League Championship.
The parade will begin at 6:10 pm on the corner of Depot Street and Main Street and proceed on Depot Street to the Morgan Hill Community and Culture Center on the corner of Depot Street and Third Street.
Players, coaches and front office will be honored on the Downtown Amphitheatre stage. The ceremony will be followed by the Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce’s Friday Night Music performances.
Last Saturday, the Panthers won the IFL Championship with a 51-41 victory over the Sioux Falls Storm at the Dollar Loan Center in Henderson, Nev. The title comes one year following a 1-15 inaugural season.
