Morning Bike Ride

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Farmers’ Market unites farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets. A family-friendly Kids Craft is included with fun projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, via Butterfield Boulevard.

Tour Morgan Hill Museum
• The Morgan Hill Museum and Hiram Morgan Hill House are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with docents giving tours. Learn about the city’s history and see some new additions. The Villa Mira Monte grounds are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visitors can enjoy the Centennial History Trail and the rose garden at leisure.

Gilroy Ukulele Jam

Daughters of the Amer. Revolution

Sidewalk Saturdays
• Last minute shopping? Not a problem! Sidewalk Saturdays is back for one day only from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Make your way downtown to Third Street and visit 30-plus vendors, enjoy a hot cocoa bar by MoHi Farms, kids’ crafts, live music, a photo booth, and a visit with Santa.

South Valley Symphony
• Celebrate South Valley Symphony’s 50th Anniversary with a Holiday Celebration featuring the talented Sandra Marlowe and Ted Sanchez in concert with the orchestra. The musicians will perform symphonic holiday favorites as well as new pieces. Volunteer for Local Parks
• Volunteers are vital in helping keep Morgan Hill’s parks and public spaces looking fresh. This is a great opportunity for high school students who need civic points for school and generous community volunteers. They will clean and refresh the Little Llagas Trail at Monterey Road between Spring and Tennant avenues from 9 to 11 a.m. Meet at Cosmo Avenue by the trail.

Toy Drive
• Help brighten a child’s life and bring a toy to the Edward Jones office of Marisa Otto, 275 Tennant Ave.

Dec. 23

Winter Magic Show
• A magic show inspired by the most magical season of the year. Come warm yourself with a little fun and a lot of wonder from 10:15 to 11:15 at the library 660 W. Main Ave. All ages are welcome. Magician Mike Della Penna is a favorite at preschools, libraries and family venues. He is known for captivating the 3-to-7-year-old crowd with his laughter-filled, participatory magic shows.

VFW Bingo
• Doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the Gilroy Veterans Hall, 74 W. 6th St. Early Bird game begins at 6 p.m. Cash prizes!
