Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Farmers’ Market unites farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets. A family-friendly Kids Craft is included with fun projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, via Butterfield Boulevard.
Tour Morgan Hill Museum
• The Morgan Hill Museum and Hiram Morgan Hill House are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with docents giving tours. Learn about the city’s history and see some new additions. The Villa Mira Monte grounds are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visitors can enjoy the Centennial History Trail and the rose garden at leisure.

Free Garden Class
• Learn what to do in winter and spring to keep your deciduous fruit trees healthy from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at the Morgan Hill Library, 660 W. Main Ave. Common diseases and insect pests, as well as measures to control them will be discussed. Tips on selecting and planting new trees will also be covered. Some basic principles of pruning with pictures will be shown. Enjoy growing and harvesting your own fruit trees. Presented by UCCE Master Gardener Joan Cloutier.

Free Garden Classes
• Learn the basics of planting and pruning fruit trees from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the conference room across from the South County Teaching and Demonstration Garden, 80 Highland Ave., San Martin. Experts will discuss how and why fruit trees need to be pruned. The fundamentals of pruning will be covered in a way to make this important task seem easier. After the presentation, weather permitting, they will go into the demonstration garden next to the county building and demonstrate how young fruit trees can be properly pruned. They will also stay around afterward to answer all your questions. Presented by UCCE Master Gardeners.

‘Into the Woods’
• Packed full of humor, memorable melodies and witty lyrics, “Into the Woods” combines several well-known fairy tales with an original story of a childless baker and his wife, who initiate the story’s action by attempting to reverse a curse on their family in order to have a child.
