Learn About Scouts

Parkinson’s Support Group

Dementia Support Group for Caregivers
• Group meets from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 171 W. Edmundson Ave., and is free, with no reservations required and for non-professional caregivers. It is a safe space to speak about the challenges faced and everything is kept confidential. Do not bring the person you are caring for to the meeting.

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Farmers’ Market unites farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets. A family-friendly Kids Craft is included.
Tour Morgan Hill Museum
• The Morgan Hill Museum and Hiram Morgan Hill House are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with docents giving tours. Learn about the city’s history and see some new additions. The Villa Mira Monte grounds are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Visitors can enjoy the Centennial History Trail and the rose garden at leisure.
Gilroy Ukulele Jam

Weekly Bike Ride

• Join the cities of Morgan Hill and Gilroy and the Housing Trust Homebuyer team to learn how the County of Santa Clara’s down payment assistance program can help you buy your first home. Coyote Creek Habitat Day
• Join others for Coyote Creek Habitat Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a day of activities highlighting the wildlife and people connected with Coyote Creek while learning how to protect it in today’s changing environment. The day includes an opportunity to meet wild animals from the Wildlife Education & Rehabilitation Center, and participants can become wildlife detectives through hands-on activities like dissecting owl pellets. Additional activities include walks, a bicycle ride, and nature exploration. The event will take place at Coyote Creek Visitor Center at Anderson Lake County Park, 19245 Malaguerra Ave., Morgan Hill. Book Sale
• The Friends of the Morgan Hill Library will hold a book sale in the Program Room from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a members-only best selection early preview starting at 9 a.m., including for those who join that morning.
