It’s no surprise Visit Morgan Hill’s Event Calendar is our website’s superstar, racking up more than 33,000 visits a year. With about 1,000 events posted annually, our community is brimming with activities. Summertime, in particular, is buzzing with excitement, offering events that both locals and visitors will love. Check out what’s coming up this summer and fall.

Woop woop! Mark your calendars for National Night Out Aug. 6 at the Civic Center Plaza. This free, family-friendly event is a golden opportunity to meet local police and firefighters, explore their cool vehicles, and enjoy some quality community time.

Don’t miss one of Morgan Hill’s iconic events — the free Friday Night Music Series. Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce at the Downtown Amphitheater, music runs through Aug. 16. If you haven’t experienced it yet, you’re in for a treat.

The Santa Clara Valley Wine Trail is bursting with activity this season, featuring live music, maker fairs, and harvest events. For the ultimate wine lover’s planning guide, check out the event calendar on the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley website. Don’t miss the “Kentucky Derby” style Wine Auction July 27 — it’s your chance to sip and sample from our local wineries and support good local causes.

Get ready for a unique wine country experience with the new vintage cable car style trolley. El Toro Tours is launching public wine tasting tours on the Morgan Hill Wine Trolley this August. Now bookable online, they include a welcome reception and a delightful trolley ride to three wineries, with pick-up and drop-off at downtown Morgan Hill locations.

Agriculture is at the heart of Morgan Hill, so dig right into some classic farm events. Andy’s Orchard has a couple more Fruit Tasting & Tours scheduled, and there’s one last Terra Amico Farms Dinner planned — get your tickets before they’re gone.

The beloved Farmers Market continues every Saturday at Depot Station from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Just across the street, the Sidewalk Saturdays vendor market takes over 3rd Street every second Saturday of the month through December.

September is going to be “hop”-ping with the Downtown Association’s annual Brew Crawl and Morgan Hill Open Studios Sept. 21. Open Studios is an immersive art event where artists open their studios to the public. The following weekend, Monterey Road will transform into a vibrant pedestrian zone for the Chamber of Commerce’s Autos & Artisans car show and maker’s fair Sept. 28.

We’re thrilled about the fantastic art workshops scheduled at Cura Contemporary this fall, located in the new Edes Building. This new gallery, a passion project by Colibri Gallery & Ladera Grill owner Dan McCranie, promises expansive exhibition space, culinary experiences, and special events that will further elevate our downtown’s charm. In the meantime, check out great workshop programs at Colibri Gallery.
