Gavilan College presents a night of Flamenco singing, dance & guitar with Spanish performer José Méndez and a special guest. Méndez was born into the legendary Méndez clan of Gypsy flamenco singers from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. He has performed throughout North and South America, Asia and Europe.  He is currently on his North America tour. Mendez will be accompanied by a cast of international performers, including guitarists Kris "El Cuervo" Hill from Arizona and local Albert Marques, dancers Myriam Vaquero from Barcelona, Spain and Bianca Rodriguez from Texas. The concert will take place 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., Gilroy.
