Many members of the Leadership Morgan Hill Class of 2015 attended the Feb. 19 Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce mixer at the Bella Terra apartment building for seniors. This year’s class project is called “Leadership Morgan Hill’s Bright Idea,” and the students will install a new stage lighting system at the Morgan Hill Downtown Amphitheater. This will enhance the night-time event experiences for the Morgan Hill community.
The class will undertake a large-scale fundraising effort during the next few months to raise the $25,000 needed to complete the project. These efforts will include the solicitation of donations and sponsorships and fundraising activities during the Friday Night Music Series and at local restaurants. A kick-off event for the project will be held from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bubbles Wine Bar in downtown Morgan Hill March 23 and 24.
For tickets or more information on the project, contact Nathan Thome at firstname.lastname@example.org or Steve Betando at email@example.com.
