Safeway beer assault suspect
On Sunday May 22 at 7:30 p.m., two males walked into the Safeway store located at 235 Tennant Station and stole cases of beer. As the two suspects exited the store, they were confronted by a clerk. Upon being confronted, the suspects dropped the beer and began to punch the clerk in the head and face multiple times. The suspects eventually fled the scene in a white PT cruiser.
The Morgan Hill Police Department was able to get a photograph of one of the suspects involved in the crime. If anyone knows this person or has information leading to his identity, the MHPD encourages them to call Detective Fernando Del Moral of the Morgan Hill Police Department at 669-253-4964.
