Tiffany Chen Chi

My name is Tiffany Chen Chi and I’m a student at P.A. Walsh STEAM Academy. I’m in the 6th grade, 12 years old, I’m trilingual, and I love to read.

Even though my last name is Chinese, I speak Spanish as my first language. English is my second language, and Chinese is my third language.

The reason I speak Spanish is that I am from Paraguay. It’s a small country located in South America and its first language is Spanish.

My life basically went like this: I was born in South America, then I moved to Taiwan. At age 4, I moved back to Paraguay and then moved to the United States when I was 8. I’ve been here ever since. OK, so maybe that’s enough of the story of my life.

Why am I here?

I came to invite you all to come to the open house at P.A. Walsh STEAM Academy. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.
The open house is going to be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday May 14. There’s no need to worry about food, because there will be a taco truck and a churro truck catering for everyone who attends.

If you don’t know where P.A. Walsh STEAM Academy is located, the address is  353 W. Main Ave. The P.A. Walsh Book Fair will also be open from 5:30 to 8 p.m. All classrooms will be open from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.

Come see what we do at a STEAM Academy. We at P.A. Walsh welcome you to our open house. I’ll be there. Look for me and say hello.
