Advisory: Shooting on E. Edmundson Ave

On 2/19/19, at approximately 8:12 p.m., Morgan Hill Police responded to the area of E. Edmundson Ave and Church St on a report of a disturbance with weapons involved. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and determined a shooting had occurred and the suspect(s) had fled the area in a vehicle.

The shooting occurred on E. Edmundson Ave east of Church St when the suspect vehicle was leaving the area after a disturbance. No one was reported injured and there is no known property damage. Multiple shell casings were recovered at the scene. MHPD detained several subjects and are following up on witness statements. The vehicle involved is believed to be a white Toyota Celica or similar model. It was last seen fleeing the area towards Monterey Rd with multiple occupants.

MHPD officers interviewed several witnesses at the scene and obtained surveillance video from surrounding residence. Detectives are actively investigating this incid ent and are requesting the help from any additional witnesses.
