Line Dancing

Lions Club Morgan Hill

Bingo
• Play Bingo at the Community Center, 17000 Monterey Road. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Games start at 6:30 p.m.

SM Lions Club Meets

Wednesdays

Wind Symphony Meets
• The Morgan Hill Wind Symphony meets from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., at Grace Hill Church, 16970 DeWitt Ave., Morgan Hill. Join the group. Details: www.mhws.org.

South Valley Wood Workers

Saturdays

Running Group, Club Run
• The South Valley Running Club is hosting a group run at 8 a.m. Various distances. All levels are welcome. Membership is not required. Details: www.svrchome.org.

Tour Morgan Hill Museum
• The Morgan Hill Museum and Hiram Morgan Hill House are open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with docents giving tours. Learn about the city’s history and see some new additions. The Villa Mira Monte grounds are now open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, where visitors can enjoy the Centennial History Trail and the rose garden at leisure.

Morning Bike Ride
• Weekly co-ed, no-drop ride averaging 25 miles. Meet at Bike Therapy, 17540 Depot St. at 7:30 a.m. in Morgan Hill. Road bike and drop handlebars required.

Farmers’ Market
• The Morgan Hill Certified Farmers’ Market brings together farmers, food producers and consumers from Morgan Hill, Gilroy, and Hollister from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Third and Depot streets in downtown. Now year-round, a family-friendly Kids Craft event was added with fun educational projects to delight all ages. Parking is available at the Caltrain depot, accessed via Butterfield Boulevard.

June 4

Summer Book Sale
• The Friends of the Morgan Hill Library will hold its summer book sale at the library, 660 W Main Ave. The sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All books are $1 or less; children’s books are 10 cents each. FMHL members are admitted at 9 a.m. before the sale opens to the public. (Memberships are available for purchase at the door.) All proceeds benefit the library.

June 5

Stories from the Past
• Morgan Hill Historical Society presents its latest “Stories from the Past” documentary from 3 to 5 p.m. Screening and reception at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, 17000 Monterey Road. Admission free, seating first come, first served.

June 7

History Makers
• See “History Makers,” an official selection of this year’s Poppy Jasper International Film Festival, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, 17090 Monterey Road. The documentary features the preservation of Villa Mira Monte, including the 1884 home built by the city’s namesake, Hiram Morgan Hill. Tickets available at pjiff.org.

June 11

Hunting Hollow Fun Run & Walk
• The Hunting Hollow 5K/10K Fun Run and Walk is sponsored by The Pine Ridge Association and put on by Henry Coe Park volunteers. It takes place at 9 a.m. in the Hunting Hollow area of the state park, located at the Hunting Hollow park entrance on Gilroy Hot Springs Road. Proceeds fund community programs and events at Henry W.
