TheatreWorks opens their 2023 season with the West Coast Premiere of Ali Viterbi’s overall coverage of the highest Jewish holiday the Passover with her prize winning play, “In Every Generation”  This telling of Jewish tradition follows one family through four time areas, exploring the celebration in the past, present and future

Directed by acclaimed Michael Barakiva who brings each character to life with the realistic offering of Viterbi’s words.

A stalwart, some mostly well known TheatrewWorks cast brings in each dinner and time that almost gives one the feeling of being a part of the meal.  Returning to TheatreWorks, Michael Champlin, Cindy Goldfield, and Luisa Sermol bring their talent to the top. And making and their debut at TheatreWorks Olivia Nicole Hoffman and Sarah Lo shine in their roles. Fine scenic design is handled by Nina Bell, with costume design by Suaznne Cheney, with sound by Sharath Patel.

As usual TheatreWorks delivers at the highest moment.
