Happy April, everyone! It’s time once again for one of downtown Morgan Hill’s favorite community events.

Picture yourself meandering through the heart of our hamlet, sipping fine wine at several stops, grooving to lively tunes, and dancing with abandon. It’s an afternoon full of excitement, camaraderie, and — best of all — supporting a fabulous cause. Come join us April 29 for the 13th Annual Morgan Hill Downtown Association Wine Stroll, where fun and community spirit will be overflowing.

From 1 to 5 p.m., downtown Morgan Hill will transform into a wine lover’s paradise with 21 local wineries paired with downtown merchants. A delightfully stimulating rendezvous awaits at every turn as you swirl, sniff, and sip your way through the best offerings of local vintners.

While wine is the star of the show, don’t forget to let loose with the rhythms of live music. We’ve assembled an impressive roster of talent to keep your toes tapping and spirits soaring.

The classic rock stylings of Encore will have you listening to the sounds of ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s at Bubbles & Brew. Get ready to rock out to your favorite ’80s hits with Undercover at Studio 38. Last but certainly not least, let the pleasant Hawaiian-inspired vocals of Elima wash over you at Rosy’s At The Beach.

As with any unforgettable event, anticipation is always half the fun. In the week leading up to the Stroll, join us for special winemaker events at Local On Main with Emma Lily Sunday, April 23, Sushi Confidential with Lion Ranch Wednesday, April 26, and Wine & Pizza Night at Luv Winery in San Martin, Friday, April 28. These exclusive tastings will set the stage for the main event and ensure your palate is primed for Stroll. Reach out to them for details.

Also, during the week you can enjoy no corkage fees and 20 percent off local bottles at Ladera Grill. Sushi Confidential will have free corkage on locals, plus 50 percent off local bottles.

Don’t miss out on discounted tickets: $55 in advance if ordered on our website, www.morganhilldowntown.org or $65 day of the event. Then Wine Stroll Saturday, check in on Third Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Remember, joining Wine Stroll means you’re not only treating yourself to a fun and lively afternoon; you’re also supporting the charm of downtown. Proceeds help maintain the dazzling twinkle lights that cast a magical glow over Monterey Road, as well as other amenities that enhance our beloved downtown.

Heartfelt thanks go out to our dedicated volunteers, without whom this event wouldn’t be possible. If you’ve got the time and interest, we could always use more help. Simply visit our website at www.morganhilldowntown.org and sign up to become a part of this extraordinary celebration.

Lastly, we extend deepest gratitude to our event sponsors — Pinnacle Bank, MG Constructors & Engineers, Frontier Communications, and Design Factory Graphics — for their unwavering support. Together, let’s raise a glass to the 13th Annual Morgan Hill Downtown Association Wine Stroll, a day filled with fine wine, dance-worthy tunes, and the joy of community.

Until next time, cheers to you all!
