It’s that time of year to put on your dancing shoes.

Free live concerts are back in Gilroy and Morgan Hill.

The Gilroy Downtown Live concerts will start their Thursday night music series on June 15 with Soul Kiss. Each and every Thursday you can kick back and enjoy their free concerts through Aug. 3.

The event is on Monterey Street between 5th and 6th streets and all shows begin at 5 p.m. The bands on tap include JJ Hawg, Neverland, The Joint Chiefs and Arena to name a few.  They will have food trucks on hand and many local vendor booths, but bring your own chair to rest between kicking up your heels.

Guglielmo Winery is starting up their Vines & Vibes free summer concert series every Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. June 7. The series runs through  Aug. 2. They always have food available, seating and lots of wine.

The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce presents their ever-so-popular Friday Night Music Series opening with The Houserockers June 16 and running through Aug. 18.

The line-up includes The Houserockers, Faithfully Live, Shane Dwight, Neverland, Pop Fiction, Carnaval, Neverland, Daze On The Green, Maroon Vibes, Super Bad and Soul Kiss. Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the ride every Friday.

The Boots & Brews Country Music Festival is coming back June 24 with a wonderful line up (see ad on page 16). If you have gone to the previous events, you know they throw a fun party. Just added to the line-up is Kassi Ashton in addition to their already list of bands Dylan Scott, Randy Houser and headliner Jake Owen. As always, we expect this to be one heck of a shindig. Get your tickets now at bootsandbrews.com.

Some of the wineries that include live music on various weekends are Clos La Chance Vineyards, Satori Cellars, Verde Vineyards, Cinnabar (Gilroy & Saratoga), J. Winston Winery, Horse Thief Winery, Cottage Creek Winery, P&V Winery, Solis, and Guglielmo Winery.

You can also find live music on weekend evenings at Tempo Kitchen and Bar between 4th and 5th streets on Monterey Street in downtown Gilroy. They have a fabulous brunch on Sundays with live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Check their website for details at www.tempokb.com
