• Join others in a weekday evening and Saturday morning walks. Meet at the Morgan Hill Shopping Center (Main and Hale avenues) for one-hour walks from 6 to 7 p.m. They also meet and walk for 90 minutes Saturdays beginning at 9 a.m. The walks are at a moderate pace and include hills. • The Live Oak Emerald Regime holds bingo games at the Britton Middle School Auditorium, 80 W. Central Ave., to support after-school band programs. Craft-a-Palooza
• Visit BookSmart for Craft-a-Palooza from 10 to 11 a.m. or 11 a.m. to noon for boys and girls three to 12. Attendees will paint, collage and craft their way to making three handmade projects. • LeTip Morgan Hill is a group of local business people that meets for breakfast at 7 a.m. every Wednesday at Rosy’s at the Beach with the purpose of giving each other leads to increase their business and revenue. Fire and Ice

Summer camps
• This high-energy camp from 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. includes interactive games, art, music, singing, team-building activities, science projects, swimming, and other age-appropriate activities. The schedule of activities will be provided to parents every Monday morning. Extended care, half day camp, and day/field trip passes are available for all camps. Vitiligo fundraiser
• Cherisse’s Hair Salon is donating 10 percent of its profits to the VR Foundation. Vitiligo is a disease in which melanin, a type of skin pigment, disappears from parts of the body causing white patches to appear. It is neither painful nor contagious, but can be harmful to a patient’s emotional and social well being. Cherisse’s Hair Salon is located at 88 E. Second St.

Downtown comedy night
• Featuring top comics from throughout the Bay Area, shows are the last Thursday of the month, at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse, 17090 Monterey Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. Must be at least 18 to attend.

Summer book sale
• The Morgan Hill Friends of the Library will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library, 660 W. Main St. All books are $1 or less, or $4 per bag from 2 to 3 p.m. Children’s books are 10 cents each. Teachers and nonprofits may take books for free at the end of the sale but must pre-register at [email protected]. A members-only preview will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Memberships are available at the door.

• The Morgan Hill Photography Club presents an exhibition at Villa Mira Monte, Morgan Hill House, 17860 Monterey Road. The exhibit, themed “Antiques,” features 30 photographs from 15 artists showcasing a wide variety of antiques, including sewing machines, children’s toys and vehicles. Senior produce market
• Every Wednesday morning the YMCA hosts a produce market at the Centennial Recreation Center, 171 W. Edmundson Ave. While the intention is to provide produce that is accessible and affordable to older adults, this market will be open for all ages and will run all year long. Produce will be sold at cost. Wide selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Free re-usable bags.

Enjoy family night at the Aquatics Center
• Enjoy the fireworks at the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center from 6 to 10 p.m. There will be food, fun and games. The cost is $15 for adults, $5 for children 3 to 15 and free for those younger than 2, and are available at www.MorganHillAquaticFoundation.org.

Jewelry making class
• Children will be taught how to make beautiful jewelry including bracelets, bookmarks or decorative pins from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Centennial Recreation Center, 171 W. Edmundson Ave. In each session they will come away with a unique treasure for themselves or as a gift for someone else. This is a drop-off program for children 6 to 12.

Boys club meets
• In addition to making new friends and a creative activity, boys will learn about life skills and values, positive relationships, and respecting themselves and others. One of the 41 Developmental Assets will be covered during each session that takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Centennial Recreation Center. This is a drop-off program for boys between 7 and 12.

• To celebrate the aquatics center 10th anniversary the center will be open for to Morgan Hill residents from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Residents much so proof of residency.
