New feature makes it simple to publish events

We at Morgan Hill Life want to help schools, nonprofit organizations and other entities promote many of their events that are open to the public. On our newspaper’s website, we have installed an online calendar featuring many of the fun activities in our region, making it easier for people to submit information about their public events for possible entry on our online calendar. This information can also potentially be published in the printed calendar page of our newspaper.

To use this feature, go to our homepage at www.morganhilllife.com and click on “Calendar” located just above our logo banner. You’ll see two drop-down items. Click on the bottom one that reads “Calendar Submission Form.” This will take you to the special page where you will find various boxes asking for specific information such as the name of your event, the date and time, the venue location and address, contact email, and your website’s URL address. Please include a clear and concise description of your event in 100 words or less in the box that asks for this information. If you have a JPEG photo or PDF flier (up to three megabytes in size) you would like us to consider including with your entry, please attach that in the appropriate box at the bottom of the page.

Morgan Hill and the South Valley region has an abundance of events throughout the year. We are happy to help share information about many of these events to enhance the quality of life for everyone in our community.
