Let us remember the life of Janette Kay Barsanti

April 4, 1960 – January 6, 2023

Janette was born in San Jose, Calif. to Ray and Freda Fleetwood at Alexian Brothers Hospital. As the youngest of six daughters, Janette was always surrounded by family and friends. As a child she grew up learning to play the piano and cheerleading for James Lick High School. She graduated in 1978 and went on to pursue her marketing degree at San Jose State University. One of her first jobs was working behind the counter at Zales Jewelry, which nearly bankrupted her family as they helped her become one of the top salespeople.

After college she raised her family in Morgan Hill. She was an incredible mother who supported her 2 children in their school and extracurricular activities. After her children went to college, Janette found her passion in real estate. She became a top producing agent for over 20 years and in 2021 she was voted “Realtor of the Year” by her peers. During her career in real estate, she met the love of her life, Steve Barsanti, and they married on July 28, 2012. Janette made all her friends feel like they were her Best Friend Forever. And often reminded us, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind”.

She is survived by her husband, Steve, children Jeffery and Jennifer Charron, stepchildren Robert, Alyssa and Nicole Barsanti, sisters Patsy Thompson and Sally Shipp, and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service is private.
