The Board of Directors of the Morgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras, Inc. announced last week the postponement of the 42nd Annual Mushroom Festival which was to be held Memorial Weekend, May 27-28. They were forced to take this action after they received notice that the security company terminated their contract, leaving them without enough time to find another security firm to support the large-scale public festival.

To date, the Morgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras organization has awarded more than $1.5 million in scholarships to high school seniors who reside within the Morgan Hill Unified School District.  All net proceeds are allocated towards its scholarship fund.  If you are interested in sponsorship opportunities to support this year’s fundraiser and our scholarship program, please contact Sunday Minnich at [email protected].

“This event is sure to sell out quickly! For more information on the Morgan Hill Mushroom Music Benefit and to purchase your tickets, please visit our website,” Minnich said. “Look for the festival to be back in 2024!”
